Refund policy

Custom, Made-to-Order Products
All items sold by Smiling Jindo Studio are custom-made and personalized according to the names, text, fonts, or images you provide at checkout. Because each item is made specifically for you, we do not accept returns or exchanges for buyer's remorse, change of mind, or personalization errors made by the customer (such as a misspelled name or incorrect text entered at checkout). Please double-check all personalization details carefully before completing your order, as we begin production shortly after your order is placed.

Defective or Damaged Items
We stand behind the quality of our products. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or with a manufacturing error (such as a font, name, or design that does not match what you submitted at checkout), we will gladly offer a free replacement or a full refund.

To request a replacement or refund for a defective item:
- Contact us within 14 days of the delivery date at smilingjindostudio@gmail.com.
- Include your order number and clear photos of the item showing the defect or issue.
- We will review your request and respond within 1-2 business days with next steps.

If the issue is confirmed to be a defect or an error on our part, we will cover the cost of return shipping (if a return is required) and the cost of producing your replacement. There will be no additional fees charged to the customer for defective items. 

Incorrect Shipping Address
Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We are not responsible for items lost or delivered incorrectly due to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If your order is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange reshipment, and additional shipping charges may apply.

Cancellations
Because production begins shortly after your order is placed, we can only accept cancellation requests within 2 hours of placing your order. Please contact us at smilingjindostudio@gmail.com as soon as possible if you need to cancel or make changes to your order.
